Hey, as some of you may know, I recently got a King 2 heli, fried the motor and ended up getting a new 3900 Brushless motor and ESC for it.
The ESC is a Dynam 30A brushless ESC

It seems to work fine and all, but I have one weird problem with it.
The manual says that the first time you install it and power it up, it's supposed to make these 3 (or 4, forgot) beeps to configure itself and whatnot and then it's ready to go. Mine does this every time I plug in the battery to run the heli. The manual says that it's only supposed to do that the first time and that's it. Any thoughts?
Another thing I have a problem with is the stock gyro. When you power up the heli, it's supposed to blink the red light for a while to set up and then a steady light shows it's good to go.
However sometimes it just won't stop blinking. Meaning I get absolutely no control of my tail rotor. This seems to mostly happen when I move the tail blade servo a bit more to the rear of the boom than it comes out of the box. I need to do this to try to tune my tail rotor, it never seems to have enough thrust by itself to counteract the main rotor. I always have to add to it with the stick a bit, even at full trim.

When you first connect it to the battery (actually every time you connect it to the batter) you will get 1 beep and a pause of about 5 seconds then you will get 5 beeps in a row. If you don't you may have a problem. Anything else and you got a problem. Stuff gets lost in translation from China.
Dynam 30A comes set for soft timeing and brake activated, you will need to set it for hard timeing for the outrunner motor and turn the brake off before you tear up your main gear if you havn't already done so. Also check that your battery is plugged into the ESC tight and battery is fully charged on ALL 3 cells. Your ESC needs to be plugged into the rx tightly also. Your Pitch/throttle trim on the tx should be all the way down to the bottom and your stick the same. Your tx is turned on BEFORE you plug the battery into the ESC.
As your running the stock esky gyro are you running the stock tx and rx that came with it?

Oh ok so the beeping is normal then. Yea all the connections are tight. How do I set up the soft timing and brake?
Yes everything for the heli is stock other than the ESC and motor. Does the trim have to be in the neutral every time I turn it on for it to set up?

Programming upgrade ESC's is very easy if you get the programming card for that ESC. I am assuming you didn't so you will have to program through the Tx. There should be instructions on how to do this that came with your ESC. If not I'm sure someone with tha ESC (sorry I have Hobbywing 30A) will have something posted for you soon.
