Hello everyone.
So far Im having a ball with my Lama 4. Had a few crashes (a lot
) but it is a learning experience. Got plenty spare parts and batteries and charger.
I need an extention to connect the 7.4 lipo to the charger. I just need to make it longer. Can't seem to find one. Or will I need to make it myself? If so where to buy the parts.
Thanks
G.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to extend your battery charge lead? I really see no need to do that unless you are wanting to charge your battery while it's still in the heli. (Not a good idea) Lipo batterys require some diligence and care to avoid issues. I would think cutting the battery charge leads and extending them might not have the results you want. One bad solder joint or a short across the leads can cause a very inconvienent issue to arise.
Maybe i am missing the question and you are wanting to extend your discharge lead. If you decide you definately have to extend whichever lead, make SURE you only cut one wire at a time and solder then cover with shrink tubing before going on to the next. At least this way you will avoid having any 2 wires contacting each other. (Ask me how I know) It only takes a split second to turn those little packs into a smoking puffing mess. Luckily for me i was in a place where flinging the whole mess outside was easy to do. Be careful and take your time.

I was actually looking for a connector lead to extend the battery to connect to a multi charger. I have a safe metal flat can with a cover that I wanted to use to place the lipos in while they were being charged. The extention would only be used for charging the lipo. But as it turned out I don't need it. It works great without making the leads longer.
I want to thank you both for you advice and concerns.
G.
