Default Help with dialing in Lama V3 please.

Hi all, I need help with dialing in my Lama V3. When I take off, she likes to go back and to the right, not turn to the right, but rather the whole chooper sorta flies casually and sometimes not so casually (but predictably) to the rear and right, VERY much like a diagonal movement. Think if you are a northern point, then the heli moves south by south east in relation to you (straight ahead being north, your left being west, etc. etc.)

Is there a gain adjustment that i need to make please?

Hi, Ruben:
If you've already tried the trims all the way to the left-forward position, then go to the joints between servos and collective and correct the length till you get the trims back to the center. Nevertheless you may need to make corrections on your trims  in every  flight.

Good luck!

Thank you Angel, the adjustment to the trim as you suggested now makes her fly far more stable now.

Hey Ruben,

Am I to late to help?

[link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=8876563]HERE[/link] is a link to all the adjustments of the control arms to make your swashplate (and thus your bird) level in flight.
...and [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=7350619]HERE[/link] is a link to the adjustments of gyro "gain" & "prop"ortional. The proportional adjustment affects the mixer part of 4in1 electronics. This allows either the top or bottom rotors to slow slightly, which makes the whole bird rotate (or yaw). If you have troubles with unwanted rotation this is the 1st place to think about adjusting!

P.S. The electronics of the Lama3 & Lama4 are identical[sm=49_49.gif]
P.P.S. Feel free to ask any more Qs!
