New 15 size Diesel

I've just taken delivery of a new model Fora 15D. This is part of a group buy by some local enthusiasts.
This 2.5cc Fora is a sports diesel but it comes with a glow head as well. This feature has some positive side effects for diesel tinkerers, but first its features.
The motor is a development of the previous Fora 15 "Junior" which was also called the "Pioneer". The new one has Schnuerle porting where the Junior had what I believe is called "Arden" porting., ie similar to a Cox TD 15. The case is also strengthened and it has a stronger rod. It's a twin ball bearing motor, with an integrally finned AAC liner. The venturi now allows the fitting of a standard R/C throttle. The exhaust is drilled and tapped to allow a small Enya muffler to be fitted. The manufacturers suggest that the shaft timing issues with the previous versions have also been addressed.
The head now has the "Push-Pull" contra-piston system within a button that's interchangeable with the glow button. Both are available as spare parts. The diesel button may be a suitable insert in a suitably modified larger size glow head. This may allow a very cheap diesel conversion on some glow engines. This may also be possible with the Parra diesel head button.
The performance is claimed to be as good as that of the AAC Parra 2.5cc diesel, ie about +17K rpm on an APC 7 x 6.

Looks like FORA took notice of what people said a sport engine should be.

If it is like the PARRA .15D an MVVS (or similar 13 mm spigot) carb will drop straight in. My PARRA .15D came with a MVVS TN Carb, and an ENYA silencer.
It has a cinch bar fastener where the spray bar is on the C/L version (like the FORA above).
Must fire it up soon ...
I'd say FORA have decided to end the PARRA party if the performance is on par ... and I suspect it will be.

Yeah,... talking to a friend about the place we would like to hear positive feedback about Technohobby before sending hard earned greenbacks ''over there''. If it were the Eurozone it would be a different thing-$@#* happens in the former Soviet states...

So far people I know have had only good experiences with Technohobby. Unfortunately they don't do Paypal, but there are other options. By the way, as an international buyer I can report that $@#* happens when you buy goods from the good old USA as well. The bloke who runs Technohobby contributes on the Barton c/l forum and responds very quickly to any potentially negative comments so you might want to lurk there occasionally to get a feel for the Fora.

What would this engine be used for? I see that the exhaust is drilled and tapped. Is there a muffler available?

I have bought from technohobby recently. They are great. They ship using regular mail. Cost me 12 bucks shipping a profi Q500 top end. After a lot of research the best and easiest way to pay them was Western Union. Technohobby is a good outfit to do business with. Nice couple of guys that respond to email questions quickly.
