Hey guys!
I had to remove the jet on my PAW49 due to clogging.
Anyway, I've assembled the jet with the hole perpendicular to the airstream at WOT, but I can't get the darn thing started now.
The jet screws into the barrel, and I have it set at the same distanc as it was before, guided by the unoxidesed brass where the jet was screwed into the barrel and the locknut.
Jens? Anyone?
Thanks fellas!

There is a small hole in the steel barrel in the carb body who must be aligned with the recess in the carb body. It is a fixed air canal for idling without the engine is dropped down by too much fuel.
Is the hole blocked?

Oh, the headache!!!
I did not remember that instruction sheet had the assembly instructions, only the tuning ones.
So, Jens, the efflux hole (I only have one on my jet) has to sit perpendicular to the airstream when opne or pointing downwards?
Thanks dude!

My Feedback: (102)
Pat, I gave up on my VariJet and replaced it with an Irvine JetStream. The VariJet on my PAW .60 when set perfectly at full throttle would be so lean at mid throttle that the engine would just quit when the throttle was reduced to half throttle. When set to run correctly in the mid range it would be too rich at full throttle.

Placed the jet downwards and it now began to start and run, it was sloppery rich, so have to give another turn on the barrel.
Hobbs, mine runs nice on the Varyjet, good idle, and transition. [&:]
