Default Remote control problems

Hi, hopefully someone here can help me out as I've been trying to get through to Nitro since Christmas and it either rings non stop or is busy. I bought 2 Nitro Infinity 4WD Trucks for Christmas presents and my little boy has yet to get to play with his! The truck starts fine but the remote seems to not be transmitting to the truck. Both the Red and Green lights are on, on both remotes for each truck, is this correct? I've tried different batteries but still no response from either remote. There are not batteries in the trucks as well is there? Help please!!!! Thank you!

Try changing the crystals in the rx in the car and the transmitter from the one that works and see if it could be the crystals that are bad.

Is this something I can do or I have to take it to a hobby shop or mail them back to Nitro RX?

look where the antenna comes from, also the on/off switch. when looking from the back of the truch the engine is on the right and there is black box on the left. undo 2 screws and pop the top off. you have to put 4 AA batteries to power the truck. it will start if you only put fuel in it but none of the electronics will work.

Ahhhhh.......sure wish the instruction manuel would have informed me on that.....for us first timers!!! I knew I could find the answers here. Inserted the batteries in the truck and life is much happier here. Thanks to both of you very much!!
