if u are going to get a exceed than u have to rebuild it. i realy like my hyperspeed buggy and im going ot totaly rebuild it with futaba equipment and a hitec high torque servo for the wheels and also im getting some uiversal shafts so that if the joints pop i wont lose the dogbone and im getting a 2 speed and a few other odds and ends so by the time im done this car ill not be a beginners model but it will be a mid grade- with alot higher of performance

I'm thinking Futaba radio with Traxxas waterproof servos for some snow bashing and summer time mudding hahaha Should work out quite nice. I think that it's just the radio systems that make these Exceed's get crapped on. I've seen the receiver's for sale for $15 and the transmitters for $9.99. The problems probably come from the low quality radio systems. But well see soon enough.
