Hi I have just gotten my Exceed Dynamite truck and i charged it for 8 hours the first time and i took it out and it ran great for about 5 minutes then it started stuttering in forward and reverse. Is this the battery life?

What mah is the battery? It shouldnt be the battery. Even when my batteries die on my mini-t they dont shutter like that. Not for nothing, but these exceed cars/trucks have had some bad talk about there electronics. Chances are that's where your problem lies. I myself dont have my nitro buggy yet but before I even think about firing it up, I'm switching out the servo's and putting my Futaba FM radio in it. I dont want to take any chances. How many batteries do you have for your truck? And also what kind of connector do you have on the car and battery?
Also check your switch. I know on my Mamba system it was acting up so I cut it off and wrapped the wires together. That way as soon as you plug the battery in, your good to go. Let me know how you make out, Joe Foster

A sign of a low batt is when you work teh controls, the servos turn much more slowly, but they should never twitch
You most likely are suffering from interference. Check what channel you are on and be certain no one else is on your channel. If someone else is, you MUST change your radio channel
If interference is not the problem, then it could be problems with the radio itself. Be sure to report your problems to Andy, he will either replace your radio or let you know how to fix your problems.
I personally recommend you get an aftermarket radio. These RTR radios are disposable and are not too good. You can find a decent 2channel radio, like a Futaba 2PH, for no more than $50 USD.

Try turning the Tx on first than the car. See if that helps. If it doesn't, which I dont think it will, you'll be buying yourself a new receiver. Check on here under "Find Ads" and go to "radio equipment" then go to "car systems". You'll be able to get a better AM or FM system for next to nothing. It'll be 10 times better then what you have now.

If your running with others and your having this problem then yes it could just be that someone else is on the same frequency as you. But if your running by yourself and getting this problem I'm going to say that your receiver is shot. I have a Futaba FM system that I was having issues with. It was glitching really bad and then got to the point where the ESC wouldnt recognize that the receiver was plugged in. So I ordered a new receiver and problem solved. I wouldnt waste my money on another Exceed receiver and would upgrade your system. For the price that you can find one on here is more than worth it. Let me know how you make out. Joe

get a new battery i think thats the problem the stock batterys on those arent so great id say go to tower hobbies and get a trinity 3600mah it would be a good step up from that battery ive owned one for months and no leaks or problems.

Have you tried unplugging the crystal and wires from the receiver and plugging everything back in? Make sure you have a good connection. Like I mentioned before, you may want to cut the on/off switch off and wrap those wores together. Could be some play in the switch itself.
