Default Need Rossi .90 small heads

I need one or two small heads for the Rossi .90 DF engine; I have new large heads to trade or will purchase.

Thanks,
Jim

I think you are going to find those heads hard to locate. A possible solution is to machine yours down, a lathe will probably make small ones out of large ones if you can find a way to mount them up.

I have looked at doing what you mentioned; also, on this particular engine, it appears that a std. Rossi .60/.65 head can be made to work by opening up the center hole several thousandths and also enlarging the counterbore that fits over, and secures, the head button. Not what I want to do, but sometimes you just gotta do what the job requires.......

Jim;
I almost forgot. Look up the Engine Guy, Paul at Pauls Model Supply. [email protected] If anyone can get small cylinder heads for youhe can, he got some obscure Webra ducted fan engine parts for me for an engine that has been out of production for 15 Years.

Hope this helps

Good Luck
Scott

Paul responded quickly to my E mail, but didn't have anything that would help with my problem.
I may yet wind up trying to mod a current production head.

Are you talking about the head button or the cylinder head? I have a bunch of stock .90 Rossi parts new in the bag.

Hello SPEED JUNKIE,

Don't need the head button; the small cooling head (part with the fins) is what I'm looking for; two of my R90 DF engines have what I would describe as "large" heads, one engine has a "medium" size head. My older large case R90DF has the black colored cooling head, similiar in design to the pattern engines but larger.

Thanks,
Jim

Based on what I THINK I know, the later R90 DF engines might have had cooling heads very similiar to the .60-.65 engines, but with slightly different size relief cuts to fit the slightly larger .90 head buttons.

Any chance of pic and price?

Thanks,
Jim

I have tried several times with no luck to upload pictures but it just won't work. 👎If you want it you can have it free of charge. I have plenty. I would rather see it being used then waste away. 👠Just send me your address and I will send it out if u really want it.ðŸ“
