Default MVVS GRRT engine mount...?

Hello folks,

Does anyone happen to know who makes a suitable engine mount for the GRRT? Preferably in aluminum...

The mounting bolt pattern is slightly different to what I'm used to... (see picture)

Also, if I don't get a mount that fits like it should, can I just drill an extra hole in each of the rear mounting lugs and just use a standard engine mount? Will that damage the engine when operating at peak power output... or will I just loose some power perhaps...?

I ended up drilling two holes so it was like a regular set up. The 2 way up front was hard to find mount for. So I went the other route. It didjtn have any effect at all on the engine, works out just fine.

Rudeboy,

Which tuned pipe is this ?

You could use a plywood mount instead of drilling these holes !

It is the MVVS tuned pipe that belongs to this engine.

Yeah, I could make a plywood mount... hadn't even thought of that... The main reason I asked was because F3D pilots use alu mounts because the engine case doesn't hold up with all that power. I don't know if this is the case with the MVVS, but I know it is with Nelson and MB engines. These last two are more powerful of course.

Yes, I did receive your mail.
If I decide on the Stinger I will order the mount too. If I don't get the Stinger I will probably order the mount anyway...
