Default Jett BSE .35?

Has anyone run the Jett BSE 35 side exhaust motor, if so what props do you recommend for racing applications, will be going on a .25 size pylon racer.

7x6 wide blade...

Is your engine tuned for high(er) rpm as stock?

I dont have the motor yet, am considering it or an OS 32 with a pipe. I would think an apc 8x7 or something similar for pylon racing

stick with a basic 9x6 apc for racing unless you need the ground clearence. Runs at over 18,000 rpm.

We flew the BSE .30 againt ST.40 powered Q-500 in sport class last year, and they we were way out front. Kindness prevailed...we just did it for fun, did not accept any awards for the day.

If you need a smaller diameter prop, go with a 8.5 x 7 APC pylon prop.

Yeah... I must have had my facts mixed up somewhere... I just re-read the thread... 7x6 belongs on a .21 engine...
