Bob, its always been my favorite also, but for some reason very few people use them in Q40. As to the 1:02, maybe in Arizona, but that will be tough to do in the humid Muncie weather. Last year, I believe only 5 people were in the 4's. One of them was mine with a vendetta, but not the lowest. I'm hoping this ones faster, its about 2 oz lighter than the one I flew last year. Comming in a mere .2 oz over the 4lb minimum.

Gentlemen,
This is my first post here and after looking at some of the photos of your beautiful models I'm afraid you might boo me off the stage when you see my pitiful offering below. Oh well, I'll just have to take my lumps.
The plane is a little Big Mig-powered flat plate design that's about as fast as anything I've built in the last thirty years or so. Once the engine started running steadily last year it became a favorite of mine and since it takes up so little space in the back of my van it goes to the field with me often.
As for its speed, well it probably rolls faster (meaner, badder) than it goes in a straight line but its about all I can comfortably keep up with - and its probably faster than anything that the guy who gave me the Revver Brother decal (who shall remain anonymous of course) can handle . Comments anyone? Hey you asleep in the back row?

Looks great Raymond, but get rid of that Master Airscrew Prop if you want to go fast.
(Just kidding, I'm not starting an arguement here).
I lived in Jacksonville for a few years a while back, miss the warm weather.

Nice looking sticker there Raymond So you think your faster than anything I have, huh? I think next time we meet you will eat those words delivered on an electric powerd plate.[X(]
I plan to offer the Skymaster F-20 to the sky god this afternoon.

I should probably start a new thread titled "Dangit". The F-20 flew fine. The stupid pilot broke the plane. F-20s need speed, while getting ready to practice landing passes I turned with too little airspeed and broke it.[:'(] I am so sick I don't want to post a pic yet. The MVVS pulled great and the whistle sounded cool too. I am the weak link.[&o]

Sorry to hear that Vic......
But I give ya 5 blue guys for fessing up to pilot error [&:][&:][&:][&:][&:]
Lost of guys at my field would have started wondering about a radio failure or a bad servo
I trust it's fixable.

I was all alone in the sky over a 90 acre sod farm. It flew stellar! I wanted to go easy the first time so I had a 10x7 on it, I would guess around 70 mph or so. I got it trimmed and flew about 15 or 20 patterns just getting the feel and decided to start thinking about where I was going to set it down and had all the above things happen. Yeah thats the ticket.
I still feel like pukeing.

Whoa Vic, those are disturbing photos alright! I can tell that you had spent some time on the finish and it really came out nice. Why not post a 'before' photo for us?
I'll tell you what, next time you come by exit 312, call me, I'll spring for the burgers, and we can do some serious drinking (non-diet sodas) to drown your sorrows.
