Revvers II
I want to get a tentative date going for Revvers burnout #2 but am unsure if Vicman will be able to hammer out a date to come out to our coast...
Anyone have any date/thoughts?
I only flew my WHip/Jett-50 twice and am saving it (from certain doom) until Revver II

I got an RC sailboat... is that anything? Otherwise I will pack PiperChuck and screw up the whole game, he runs some sick fast stuff on the water. AirGar you may want to be there. Can't tell you why yet.

I bought an R/C submarine ( with torpedos! [sm=punching.gif]!) just in case you make a trip to the Flaot Fly at Island lake.

RE: Revvers II
I'd like to make it to the next Revvers get together....just need to know which weekend to pencil it in. My wife's parents live in Apple Valley about 15 minutes from the lake bed so I'd have a place to stay. Good excuse to visit them. The wife even thought that was a good idea; Double Score! Mark F. is game, too, so we will be "representin' E-style." If "we" can figure out the weekend I might be able to drag a couple more friends out there to have some fast, furious, fun!!

RE: Revvers II
You guys do realize that November is when it starts getting ugly out there...cold, windy and rain. I'm checking with my mother-in-law to see what she says about that time frame. I have done trips out there in late October to Rabbit and it was hit and miss with weather but my buddies went in November and hated life. We usually camped over night...

OK guys I spoke with the hot babe in control of everything I do besides work and got the official wife go-ahead for the trip(permission to use up flight miles for personal activities) I will get the trip worked up later this week. I should fly into LAX right? Should I book a room in addition to a rental car?

RE: Revvers II
We finally get an "Eastcoaster" to make the trip!
That calls for something special![:-]
How about the usual Beef Carne Asada, Tortillas, Potato Salad plus "CHICKEN CARNE ASADA"![X(]
It's my latest cooking recipe!
As we all know I can cook waaaaaaaaaay better the I can fly!
I am also the reigning champ of the "Lawn Dart and "Best Divot" awards! (and that really sucks to say!)[>:]
Vicman we will treat you right and anyone else who can come from afar!

Hey Speed,
Hmmmm, did I hear Carne Asada!!!
That stuff was awesome last time!! I know you soaked the meat in Orange Juice, but was there anything else that you added to the marinade? How long did it soak for? Share the recipe, I'd like to make me a batch some time

OK....lemme stick my neck out....how about the weekend of the
21st and 22nd ??? Not too soon, not too late. The weather is
purely a crap shoot....pure luck will bring us good weather, you
never know what you will get up here on any given weekend.
Vic, I have a "room" on wheels you can stay in, nice shower too.
Let's do this !!

RE: Revvers II
After all the talk from the last Revver get together, I had to try this Carne, as I had never heard of it before down here. All I can say is "where has it been all my life".... Its like when Homer found Duff for the 1st time!!!!
I just want to thank "Junkie" for making me into a "Carne Junkie"[sm=48_48.gif]
Is this anything like your recipe??
