BTE Delta Vortex. That wing is 4" thick and it was radared today at 126mph on the flat. OS91 with MACS muffled pipe.

Thanks - we like it. Lots-O-space to make lots-O-noise. It has a couple of drawbacks but getting a field like this in the S.F. Bay area is fantastic.

I hope there's no minimum age I'm only 16!:D

This is my Patriot 40 with a Super tigre 51 with a macs tuned muffler and 3151 servos
(yes i know it needs to be recovered if the plane survives the season it will get re outfitted for an estes rocket in the tail and a new covering scheme!)

It's by far the fastest plane out at our field and have yet to radar it.

I also plan on building the Mig-29 from Ak-models here yet this summer to and will be putting a 75 tower in it or a Jett 90 not sure yet depends on how my money is!

I was wondering to what you guys thaught about this too. I have an uproar which i've pretty much over flown. It's basically holding together by the covering and i just recently ripped the tail wheel out and instead of fixing it i planned on getting a new kit. Something fast and fun. I've had two planes on my mind so far the Force-one by Balsa USA and the Lanier Dominator. I'm looking for a kit to save money and me and my dad are great builders. Just wondering your opinions!

D- Welcome to the insanity! Anyone with a Patriot is a friend of mine... Tail-dragger eh?

I have seen the Force 1 perform with a GMS-47 and it flew great... I would prefer the quickee style myself as it has more speed potential-

BTW- The MACS one piece muffler usually restricts engine performance rthen than helping- get a Jett-Stream or Ultra-Thrust muffler for an extra 1K RMP's ;)

It really seemed to help my ST and anything is better than the stock muffler it had. At the time i baught it i wanted a nice big tuned pipe but was short on cash and the stock muffler was falling apart with no way to fix it, so i got the black macs. Maybe another time when i re-do the plane this winter ill get a nice muffler for it!!

I kinda like the quikee too but wanted to try out a delta so im really not sure either i suppose but maybe the quickee for speed.

Here is a couple of pictures of my speed monsters. The Red and White LancairIV was clocked Saturday at 132mph with gear up and the YS-120SC screaming. The Red LancairIV has an 80" span and the Blue Lancair ES has a 100" span and fixed gear. I need to go faster, so I am building one with a Moki 1.8 on a pipe.
