Hey John,

I've been overreading your threath, and must say, your building is perfect. My plane, powered with a DA50 weights 15,9 lbs (7,2 kg). Putting in a bigger (read heavier) engine will create problems for balancing. Mine is balanced without any lead. I'll upload a image of my radio-installation in the plane. My plane goes unlimitid vertical with the DA50 and a Mejzlik 22x10 prop. I'dont really thing you need a bigger engine then a 50 cc gasser for it. Flying is a piece of cake, rolls as straight as a midwing stuntplane and landings are as slow as a beaver. Knife-edge only requires a little bit of mixing. I have made some changes for securing the wings to eachother to. The lower wing I attached by mounting little hooks in both ribs that I connect with a ...... (those things that can stretch and that attach the wings of a studentplane to its fuselage). The upper wing I connect the same way as you do.
Keep up the good work and let me know how it flys.
