I have been flying planes for over 5yrs and dealt with many places but they take the cake.
I recently received my f-117 edf from them as a present for my dad. I did all my preflight checks and everything seemed ok so up i went. About 5 mins into the flight the right aileron stops responding and i am unable to keep control of the aircraft and it comes crashing down hard cracking the right wing almost all the way through. It does not have rudders so steering is almost impossoble once an aileron goes.
I try to get hold of them by phone which didnt work you have a better chance of seeing god while ur still alive. I finally got someone on the chat named Brad he was nice i explained my situation and he said to email my problem with pictures attached so i did.
Today i chatted with someone named Daphne to followup on the email she said they do not cover crash damage there is nothing she can do for me. Meanwhile there warranty http://www.bananahobby.com/support.html states that if an item brakes from normal use you have 30 days to request an RMA. She told me that a servo doesnt just fail and if it did id have enough time to land without crashing. kinda hard to land with one wing working. wouldnt have crashed if part didnt fail.
All i wanted was a new body and wings i would get my own servos and reuse the other parts but they wouldnt even do that.
I have the whole conversation and a pic attached which i believe you should read, please do not give these people the pleasure of your business, because once you get your product your on your own

My neighbor was more fortunate in that he found a bad servo before trying to fly it. They still wouldn't replace the servo. However, EasyTigerModels.com did for free; he just put the servo in the box for an order I had with him for another product.

I don't know how places like this stay in business??
I've read a ton of "bad deals" from BH and they always say customer service is next to none.If I ran my business like that I would be Out of business fast!
I think there needs to be more control of online businesses so you know for sure who your dealing with because the way it is, I can make a website, stock my garage and sell anything I want and if you have a problem.... Sorry sir, we don't cover that.
There's so many people that just buy if they see something they want without doing a little research. Human's are too trusting!

I hate to be the bad guy here but.....
How could you possibly know if a plane crashed due to pilot error or a faulty part. This is basically how the factory sees it. Statistically speaking, at least 90% of crashes are due to pilot error. At least at our airfield.
Personally I believe you, because I have had my share of issues with Parkzone and Spektrum stuff. I now have accepted the fact that some things will fail and I wont be compensated for it. 20% of my yearly RC budget goes to these so called "warranties".
Good luck. Hope they at least respect you enough to talk to you about the issue.

seen lots worse... a bit of epoxy (maybe a skewer in the foam for added strength) and a new servo or two and you are in the air...

I was at the DMV today to register a trailer given to me by a friend who is very ill.
Of course I didn't have all the proper paperwork, and of course the paperwork needed his signature. I had a signed title, but no proof of sale.
I tried to explain to them that the man was literally on his death bed and getting him to sign anything at that point in the day would be difficult if not impossible.
The lady behind the desk said, "Suuuuuure he's on his death bed." Then under her breath, "They always have an excuse why they can't get the proper signature."
Of course, I was FUMING, because it was the God's honest truth, and she didn't believe me. But, I smiled and thanked her for her time, and left.
The point to this story? It's very similar to your situation with Banana Hobby.
Just as the DMV didn't have a way to verify my story, Banana Hobby has no way to verify yours.
How many times do you think the DMV gets people in there trying to register vehicles under false pretenses? I bet it happens frequently.
On a similar note, how many times do you think Banana Hobby gets sob stories from people who crashed their planes, claiming equipment failure when it was really their incompetence that caused the crash? I bet it happens frequently.
