Repairing dings in foam.
hello,
I have tried using lightweight spackle to fill any cracks or dings in foam wings...works very good, and is a lightweight latex. Go to any paint supply, or hardware store and get the smallest, lightweight spackle they have. It sands off easily. So reshaping the wing is easy. I have repaired several 60 mph soccer pole dings with the stuff.

Anyone else have some ideas in repairing foam dings?

RE: Repairing dings in foam.
Depending on the type of foam, hot water works. Makes the foam swell a little, and the dents stay out after it dries. I've tried it on EPP foam, and it worked pretty well. Polystyrene, like my Dornier 328 model, didn't respond as well, but it didn't hurt, either.
