Default GWS Tiger Moth

Hi,

I am brand new to RC and I am having trouble getting the di-h shape to my upper and lower wings. Can someone point me to clearer instructions of which tape to use to cover the wings in a fixed position?

Thanks!

Jeff

I'm assuming you mean the tape at the dihedral joints on both wings? If so, you should be able to tell which of the airfoil shaped pieces of tape to use for this by comparing the size of the tape and wing--two smaller pieces for top, covered by yellow tape, and one larger piece for lower wing joint. It may appear that the tape is not double-sided because it can be rather hard to peel the backing off. many people skip the tape altogether and use 5-minute epoxy to fix the wing joints in place and the struts as well. If you search on here for tiger moth wing, you will most likely come up with some helpful results. Also, do yourself a favor and visit www.tigermothsquadron.com. I hope this info helps you out. Good luck!
