Easiest way to monitor threads I've contributed to
Is there a easy to find all the threads I've participated in? I can search by my username, but it doesn't indicate if there are any additional (new) posts. If I subscribe to the threads, I get end up getting TONS of email.

you can subscribe to a thread but uncheck the "get mail" option to reduce mail.
go to http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/subscribe.asp and uncheck the get mail on those you don't want notices on.
would this work for what you want?

In the old RCU ("RCU Classic"), a black dot in the center of the envelope icon meant you had a post in that thread. That was a great feature! Any chance of migrating it to the new?

Yes. This feature will be included in the next major revision of the forum software. We will have an icon indicator which shows which threads you participated in.
