How can i put an avatar when i post a message..i tried uploading images and it says ERROR check image size, i have gotten the size down to 4.15kb it says max 7.5..whats wrong?

I had this same problem. I tried to upload this airplane pic I and it said the same thing about file being too large. Of course I tried making it smaller and no luck. What solved my problem was I had that pic saved in my pictures, and I needed to save it as a web page in my web page documents. I don't know if this is your problem or not, but worth it's worth a try.

In addition to file size limit, the width and height of your avatar must also be less than or equal to 85 pixels. If your image is either wider or taller than 85 pixels, then you will get the error message.

It can also be a JPEG. For example, my avatar is a JPEG file.

Where do you go to change your avatar? I can't find it.
