Not to be mean or anything, and all of this is IMO, but lightfoot(howard) does seem to delete a lot of posts, even if there are only a few little offtopic things in it. I had a few posts deleted becuse i had abbreviated foul language, and i can understand that.

I have gone through this entire thread and cleaned up the posts that are against community policies. Many of you have received notifications of posts being deleted and the reasons that they were. I suggest that each person in this thread read the community policies before posting again. Some of the things will not be tolerated, such as posting links to your competing forum.
If you wish this thread to continue, then everyone will have to abide by the community policies.

well guys this is kinda going off topic from my post, on why my entire thread was deleted? could he maybe of hit the wrong button and wiped the whole thing, i had him change the subject name at the time, and there was no problem then but all of a sudden for a few off topic posts it goes bye bye, that's what i don't understand?
i have had posts deleted, and have been warned for a few small things i have learned but i still do not see why the whole thing was deleted if only a few posts where out of line?
I just wanted a answer or an at least a, oops i clicked the wrong button sorry for my mistake, something just not all of a sudden months of help gone out of the blue?
I will reply back and see what happened, i just figured all the mods mangers admins swing by here to see if anyone needs help and he would see it.
oh side note: thanks for the help ken its all taken care of![&:]

The two rules are, you have to link directly to a thread that contains information on the topic at hand AND the content has to be viewable without requiring a log in to the site in question.
You can't however link to the homepage of a competing forum.

I apologize for not responding but this thread started on the day that I moved. My dad went in the hospital and died a week later. There was a period of almost 2 weeks that I hardly had time to boot my computer.
To answer your question, pythonfan, your thread was not deleted but only the post for which you were notified. The thread is still there. You have to realize that if a thread has no posts for a period of 3 months then someone posts something that is against community policies and that post gets deleted, it does not remain on the first page but goes back to the page containing the 3 month old posts. This was the case with your thread. You will now find that it is several pages back in the forum but here is the link to it.
