Now i understand why you want that python skin anodizing. Im sorry to hear about your loss, i know its a snake but a pet is a pet. And i hope you get better soon.
This is a nice project your working on and i would be glad to help out. I'll get to work on the python design as soon as i have some time to play around with colors and patterns. Byte and I have been keeping it in mind and coming up with ideas to get as close to what you want as possible and i think we might have a really good plan. The only hold up is that we have some orders to fill in and other requests of colors and designs that were asked before yours but dont worry your on the list.
So far from the pics you've posted i really like the one with the black lst shocks or are those from your muggy? i dont know much about that truck but the shocks look like the aftershock shocks.
Keep working on it, im looking forwards to the final product.

Thanks man. those are the muggy shocks, i like to keep the truck lower so those should to just fine with thinner oil and a softer to medum spring!
And the mach from the muggy is going to be sick!

Scanning over this thread, I noticed that the Hot Bodies and Kyosho helical gears are only 43T/10T bevels. This low gear ratio is what rock crawlers want, but I want to put helical bevel gears into a Savage. For Savages, they use a 43T/13T ratio and I want to keep this ratio for this application.
I know that HB does not offer a 43T/13T helical option, does anyone know if the Kyosho gears come in a 43T/13T helical option?

Nope, They only come in as all i have seen is 43/10, the stock gearing in my truck is 43/10 so it won't harm me, but for u savage guys, there going to be a bit more low end.

That sucks. Those three miniscule gears would totally throw off my entire overal gear ratio in my Savages. I wonder if the Gigacrusher also uses the same Kyosho 43T/10T helical gears? If the Gigacrusher uses 43T/13T or higher gear ratio, does anyone know if these are a direct fit onto Savage diff cups?

Hey guys i just got a werid idea?
I got stung by the drifting secne.
ANd i was thinking about making a drift force, that has a ring to it, "Drift Force"[:-]
But slaming the truck, and with the new axial .28rr uhhhh it would make a sick Drifter, put some slicks on it, or pvc. uhhhhh That would be sick!
What do you guys think?

Why not? If you want to play around and have some fun, go for it. It would probably be a novelty- I am sure you would have some meaty tires back on there after a few PVC drifter runs.

are u getting just the radio, or the radio receiver? if your getting just the radio, it will work, u just need to make sure u have the same crystals, but if ur getting the entire setup, with or with out servos, as long as it comes with the receiver, it will work just fine! unless u have a FM radio installed right now?
