Default Building an RC Autopilot- Help

I have been looking around online and on the forums for plans to build an RC autopilot system as a project for school, Iwan't the system to be able to fly a few circuits on its own. I knowa micro controller and GPS module are needed, butI reallydon't know where tostart.Has anyone built theirown Autopilot system and could helpme out with a parts list or possible a procedeure? Anythingwould help.

No replies to your post because:

1.   From a security standpoint, no one here would share their RC/autopilot/FPV skills or experience. You have 1 post, zero credibility on this forum, and discussing autonomous RC aircraft with strangers just isn't done. You could be a security threat, we don't know.
2.   Few do it.
3.   If you need info, there are universities already doing research that may help. They compete with other universities however, and may view you as a spy for the competition.
