Hobbico HydriMax 4C 4.8V 1600mAh 2/3A NiMH Flat Rx U battery with 4 3010 servos, a 9405 servo, and either a 3004 servo or a mini servo for throttle with a 617s 7 channel FASST rx for a Venus II with an OS120AX. Inoticed when Ipurchased my 3010 servos that the back of the box said "NiCD only."
If it is not a good battery, what do the fine folks at Futaba reccommend for this setup? Thank you for your help.

The reason for the warning is that the servo can produce high-current draw from your batteries. Older NiMH cells had high internal resistance and with several servos, most notably digitals, the servos would draw enough current to drop the system voltage to below the receiver needed.
You should be fine with your choice of battery.

Thank you for your response. I plan on using analog servos only, and checking the voltage before every flight! I'll get back to you in April and let you know how it works out!
Have a nice day!
