Default elevator programing

Hi - Just built my first plane that has a split elevator that uses 2 servos. Can anyone tell me how to set this up in a Futuba 6EX 2.4GHz so both servos operate together in the same direction and at the same throw?

As there is no Ailevator function in your 6EX, you will need to use your Pmixes to set this up. But first if your elevators are not moving as you wish, you may need to go into the REVerse menu and change the direction of one.

Please see our FAQ's for information on using Dual Elevators in your transmitter:

Unfortunately, this does not work.
There is no way in the 6EX to set the % on a master and slave seperately.
You can set the mix to +100%, but this only allows the 2 servos to work together in one direction (up). When you try to activate down elevator, only one servo moves.
BTW - the embedded link that you posted is from a 6X transmitter which is very different from the 6EX. Any chance you have different info for the 6EX?

While the FAQ may be for a different transmitter, it will work the same for your transmitter.

As per the % on the master and slave, this is why I pointed you to the first FAQ as it will tell you:

"To be able to trim your second elevator servo, we would suggest first that you of course do this by hand at the control surface, but if you still need to do a little more trimming you may of course go into your sub-trim menu to make further adjustments. But if you are wanting to trim in flight, you will need to purchase a Synchronizer."

This is a 6EX 2.4GHz transmitter and it does not work the same as the one you referenced.
In your explaination - your first step is - Move all dual rates to the single switch: ___ Arrow up to PARA - on the 6EX 2.4GHz transmitter, all the dual rates are already on a single switch and there is no PARA function.

Later in your procedure under PMIX, it says :

___ Cursor over to set the amount of the mix. Set it to 100% so they are identical (then adjust as needed to make travels match)
___ Move the master channel stick so the R/U, L/D changes and set the second side of the % also. (in this example, push up elevator)

This also is not possible - when you set the amount to 100%, it is not adjustable my moving the channel stick.
