I dont know if anyone else has this problem but my "dial" on my 9c kept falling off when bumped.
last weekend it pulled the final disapearing act and I cant find it.
AMC,
what are the chances I can get a replacement from futaba.
and who should I go through to get it.
(BTW it was loose out of the box... infact when I opened the box the first time the dial was lying seperate frome the TX)

Unstable,
Ouch! We've heard of 1 or 2, it appears to be a problem when the radio is packaged as they've all been loose as you describe.
Please send us teh TX and we will replace the dial and also check over to confirm that there is not any other damage.
Please see the following site for a worksheet which will simplify sending your item for service:
http://www.hobbyservices.com/techsup...orm-futaba.pdf
In case you can not use the worksheet for any reason, here is the pertinent information.
Please ship your product to:
Futaba Service Center
1610 Interstate Drive
Champaign IL 61822
phone: 217-398-0007
fax 217-398-7721
email: [email protected]
Please be sure to fill in all fields on the worksheet or, if not using the worksheet, to provide us a detailed explanation of your concerns and service required, as well as at least 2 means of daytime contact: phone, fax, or email are great, as well as your return mailing address. If this is non-warranty service, please also provide a means of payment (visa, mastercard). Please note that we will contact you with an estimate prior to performing ANY repairs to a non-warrnty item, so be sure to provide an easy way to reach you to avoid delays.

I really dont want to send out the radio as im using it for all my models... I would even buy one if I can to replace it. if not I can find something to fit... it didnt appear that the dial was loose due to packing or shipping... when I looked at it (to see why it was falling off) it looked like the mold on the plastic didn't form right in manufactureing.
ps Im just talking about the plastic "knob" for the dial... the rest of the radio/switches/sliders/etc works... I can even turn the dial pot by hand and everything is fine.
