I am about to build an Extra 300 with 2 aileron and 2 elevator servos. I use a R617FSreceiver and would like to use the flaperon mix as well as mixing the elevator into the ailerons.
Now I found some examples in the handbook stating to use ch7, does it have to be this channel or can I assign another channel?
Also, can anyone help me out with programming this?

What transmitter are you using, we do have some FAQ's on our website that will help you in your setup, but it would be helpful to know which transmitter you have.

Since you have the 8FG, you can set your transmitter to the correct wing and tail style.
Just go into Model Type and select 2AIL+2FLP for the wing and AILEVATOR for the tail type. Then check your servo screen, you should see that ailerons are 1 and 6 and dual elevators are 2 and 5.
From there, just set AFR and rates up on each channel and you should have what you are looking for.
If you are wanting to mix some Elevator into your Ailerons, you can then go to the Model menu and go into CMBFLP>ELE menu.

ok, I programmed 2ail and 2 flap for the tail. Just to be clear - I do not have flaps, I want to use the ailerons to simulate flaps.
I have 'LD' assigned to control the flaps, but the ailerons don't move when I turn the button.
Did I miss something or do I need to change the tail type?
thanks
