I'm planning to use my 14MZ (mode 1) as the teacher & a 18SZ (mode 2) as the student via a WTR-7, any problem?

Also, can a 18SZ reads the contents from a 18MZ memory card? And are they using the same memory card?

I don't know about the trainer stuff, but there is a file conversion tool which allows you to convert an 18MZ model file to one the 18SZ can read. It's available on the Futaba RC site in the download section. Yes they use the same type of memory card.

Zeeb is correct, you need to convert the MZ model data to get it on the 18SZ/16SZ.
