Trim switches (2 of them ) are not responding. For example if I work the elevator trim forward or down , I can't move the trim back up. Also the elevator on an aircraft does not move. Same response if I switch planes on the receiver. Battery is original and was displaying 7.2 volts. Maybe I should order in some replacement trim switches..
Any ideas please. On vacation in Arizona and not being able to fly while down here will truly suck.

Personally I'de send it in to service for a quick loo over. If it has never been serviced it is worth doing. Not sure I would tackle swapping out trims, and I am not even sure if you can get them to do.
You should be able to get a quick turn around right now.
Where are you in AZ? I grew up there and still go over a few times a year. Grew up in Scottsdale, lived in Chandler and went to school in Tucson.

I guess I should check with them tomorrow via phone before I send it. Will look around for a replacement that is FASST compatible ( I hope ).
We are Canadians flying in the desert near Casa Grande AZ. Flew up around Mesa Nov. through Jan. I brought 7 planes down and my flying buddy brought down 9. Having fun until now.

The 14SG would be an excellent replacement and your 8FG models should copy directly to it.

I can almost guarantee you they will ask you to send your radio in.

Thanks Bob; my REBUILT TX should arrive here in Casa Grande tomorrow or the next day. Did pick up a Futaba 6 channel so that i could fly in the mean time. it will serve as a spare TX and for buddy-boxing
