Default SBD Decoder

Hi Bill:
I have purchased the newest 14 channel S Buss receiver. I also have bought the S Buss SBD-1 Decoder too.
My question is, can you use the new SBD Decoder while the new receiver is in the FASSTesT mode?
I do not have S Buss servos in this model.
If I can use this device into which port is it placed?
While reading the manual it mentioned SBC-1 channel changer too?
Do I need to buy one of those now too?
One more thing, is the SBS-10G placed then in the S Buss 2 port?
I am trying to get to the 17 channels that were previously used in this model.
I really appreciate your time and knowledge.
Respectfully
Daniel Metz

Het Dan -

The SBD-1 gets plugged into either the S.Bus or S.Bus2 port on your RX.
Yes, you need the SBC-1 channel setting device to set the channels on the SBD-1.
If you mean the SBS-01G (GPS) then yes, it gets connected to the S.Bus2 Port. You can "Y" in other devices if needed.

Thank you so much Bill.
I fully understand the device now.

Default Decoder and receiver mode?

No joy, I have both devices.

My question now is will the SBD-1 work when the receiver is in FASSTEST mode?

Or does it have to be in SBuss mode?

Thank you for your time.

S.Bus and the SBD-1 works with FASSTest, FASST, SFHHS, and TFHSS receivers.

There is no such thing as "S.Bus mode".

Please give me some more details on what you tried to do and how you tried to do it.

Make sure you are only connecting into DG 2 output and that it is set to S-Bus and not S-Bus 2.

Thanks. Hopefully Dan can share some more info on what he is trying to do and how he connected everything. I'll wait until he answers before answering.
