Yep. I run unregulated 2S lipos on all mine. In general with Futaba receivers it is the max voltage your servos can handle that determines max system voltage.

I am trying to understand this statement....So IF the servos can handle a 2cell lipo the i could run my R617 RX on a 2 cell lipo and everything will be happy?????

Thanks...

Yes, the 617 works fine with 2S lipo. However, your original post asked about the 6014HS RX, which is also fine with 2S lipos. The max voltage your servos can handle determine your system voltage, not the RX.
