I have copied a WMA file from an SD card to the 18MZ. I play the file using the throttle stick J3 and have set the file to play at a certain stick position.

This works well except that it works on all model memories not just the one I set it up for. Don’t see any way to make the operation model specific? Also if Tx is on the Home Screen, when file plays the Player screen pops up and stays open. As I fly with screen locked it’s not possible to return to Home Screen until I land. This means that the timer can’t be seen. Is this normal behaviour and is there any way to inhibit it?

The player is a System level menu item, so it is active in all models.
Starting with the 14MZ the player has always displayed on the screen instead of timers, etc. It is not unique to each model like items in the Linkage and Model menus are. Not sure why it is done that way, but it is the way Futaba does it.
14MZ/18MZ/32MZ are all the same way.

I'll ask the service folks if they have any additional comments and get back.
