Default Transmitter Firmware updates to Support DD Motors with more Poles?

Futaba,

When can we expect an update to our high end transmitters to support Direct Drive Main Shaft Motors
with a 1:1 gear ratio and a higher amount of magnetic Poles?

My T18SZH needs an update for RPM telemetry to work with SBUS2!!!

Does Japan truly know about this problem with the software?

Thank you,

Michael

As was noted in another post, Futaba is aware of the issue, but there is no ETA for an update for it.

Default RPM Brushless Telemetry and setting gear ratio/ and pole count

Hi Bill,

I take it that the latest firmware update (V4.3) didn't involve a fix for the OMP Hobby's M4 helicopter with its ESC communicating via SBUS2 to the T18SZH Transmitter?

All we need is the ability to set it at a 1:1 gear ratio and a pole count of 42. The latest FW talks about a pole count to 100 but I guess that's only if you have certain ESCs?

Hopefully we can see an update soon?

Please make sure Futaba of Japan knows of this issue.

Thank you,

Michael
