AnnMarie and all,
The timer function does not work correctly when the timer is set to down and set to 0:00 in the timer menu. Instead of counting down from "- 0:00.0" on the home screen like it should, the timer starts counting down from ":9:13.0"... Note: The colon to the left of the 9 is not a typo error on my part; that's the way it appears on the home screen.
This applies to both S1 and S2 timers and does this regardless of what you set to trigger the timer, IE: stick throttle, power on, or toggle switch. Note: When the timer function is set to up and set to 0:00 in the timer menu, the timer counts up from 0:00.0 like it should...

I'm just doing my part as a responsible modeler by reporting a problem to ******* the proper person. **************EDITED BY MODERATOR. VERBALLY ABUSIVE COMMENTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.**********

Dazzler,
Some people might want the option of counting down from zero. The fact that the timer starts counting down from 9 minutes and 13 seconds when the timer is set to 0:00 tells me something IS NOT right within the software*****ABUSIVE COMMENTS REMOVED****
I've bought 4 Futaba products: 8U radio; GY-501 gyro; GV-1 governor; and a 9C radio. That's over $1,500 dollars I've spent. ***********
Formerly, I was a factory-trained fully-certified master technician for General Motors. I did it right the first time around because I paid attention to detail and had pride. If I can do things right, so can others. ********NON-OBJECTIVE VERBAL BASH COMMENTS REMOVED BY MODERATOR.****

Before I entered management, I wrote test code for car audio equipment. I can tell you for a fact that users come of with unique ways to use there equipment that the programmer never dreamed. While I would include the option of counting down from zero, I may not remember it when I executed code in another routine or sequence. You just don't look for people to do those kinds of things. While this is a bug, it is not with malice. Just keep the suggestions flowing and the product will be improved.
I do remember when GM first put the computer module in the distributor of their cars. They would periodically stop running and the computer had to either cool off or be replaced. They learned from their mistake and improved. Lets give Futaba or any MFG the same benefit

Don,
Thank you for pointing out this interesting occurance. I have certainly passed along the input, as I do all input, in the appropriate manner.
As this is a count down timer, intended to count down to 0, I'm sure the programmers never thought of/were concerned with someone attempting to count down from 0. Of course, if a users wants to count how long he's been running the timer, he would use the count UP function, as counting down into negatives is the same thing. As such, I would certainly not consider this a significant problem with the product, as when used as intended everything operates fine.
