Default 7CAP Throttle Cutoff

I am in the process of setting up my 7CAP and have a question regarding throttle cutoff.

I can set the throttle cutoff OK but my question is about the switch assignment. The default switch seems to be the elevator dual rate (A). If I have dual rates set and also the throttle cutoff set on the same switch how can this perform both functions. I'd hate to be flying at low motor and hit the high rates and kill the engine. How can the switch do both? Or should I change switch assignments?

How do most people setup the throttle cutoff switch assignment?

Default RE: 7CAP Throttle Cutoff

Hi max42,

If you set up both using the same switch, when you flip the switch for your dual rates, your throttle will of course cut down. It is definitely recommended to reset your switches if you plan on using both Throttle cut and your Elevator dual rates.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
