Default 7CAP Setup

I am trying to set up my 7CAP. I have 2 aileron servos and 2 flap servos (single rudder and elevator, of course throttle). Each aileron and flap servo is plugged into it's own receiver channel. Ailerons in Ch 1 & 7, Flaps in 5 & 6.

With standard factory settings I had no aileron servo movement in response to stick input. When I turned the flap knob only the left flap moved. Left aileron and right flap moved when I activated swithch 5 & 6. No right aileron.

Then I tried to get into the mixing. First I went to the Parameter menu and set Ch 5 & 6 switches to null. Next I tried mixing ch 1/7 (under PMIX 2 with no Rate or Offsett) and Ch 5/6 (under PMIX 1 with no Rate or Offsett).

Long story short, this did nothing. I still only had a single left flap and no ailerons. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi max42,

First I would go into Parameters and null out the settings for both channels 5 and 7. Next go into Flaperon, and make it active, but at the bottom of the page it will ask you if you want channel 6 or channel 7 as your second aileron, here you will want to dial until you see the CH7 since this is the way you have yours set up.
Next go into a blank PMix, and you will need to make channel 6 the master and channel 5 as the slave, do not assign this to any switch just leave this blank, then go to the next page and set the amount of percentages you want the flaps to raise and lower with the dial.

This set up should get you what you are looking for.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
Krysta

Hi max42,

Please give me a little bit to experiment with this for you. I will get back to you after I try this out and get started on an FAQ for it.
