I just sent my 8UAF in for service, and to have a polyswitch installed. Well there's a slight problem with the polyswitch: Whenever I try to cycle the battery (without removing it from the radio), the cycler shows that there's only 75% of the capacity in the battery. If I take the battery out of the radio to cycle it, then the cycler shows 100% capacity...
My question is: is this normal? Does the polyswitch puts a load in the circuit? If it is normal, then the polyswitch isn't very useful... Which is not a big problem with the 8UAF but it is with my 6XA (I ordered an extra polyswitch and installed it myself in the 6XA... same story about the cycling problem)
Thank you

I tried it again today with the 8UAF. This time it worked great. I believe there might have been something wrong with the connector I use between the cycler and the radio. Tomorrow I will try again with the 6XA, and let you know if it went well.
Thank you

I'm using an old Digipace 1 with 300mah load. so no chance that was the problem. Now everything works fine after re-soldering the connector.
