Default programming a 7 channel vs. an 8 channel

I currently have my plane set up on an 8 channel reciever. using 2 servos for the rudder and elevator. how do I set up a 7 channel for the same operation? I can't seem to get the aux channel to switch over. I have the elevators plugged into 2 & 8. I have the ailerons in 1& 7.

Hi stuffer,

Please furnish us with a little more information such as, what radio you are using and what type of plane you are setting up.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
Krysta

With an 8 channel receiver the easiest way is to use Aileron Diff for channels 1 and 7 and Ailevator for channels 2 and 8 with AIL 3 and AIL 4 set to 0%.

With a 7 channel receiver the easiest way I have found is to use Flaperon for channels 1 and 6 and then do Pmix from Elevator as Master to Aux 1 as Slave, with Trim on at +100% rates.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

I have an Edge 540 with a 9C radio and the 7DF RX.

Dual elevator servos and dual aileron servos.

My goals are to have spoilerons and a switch to activate ailevator function if possible.

Your help is greatly appreciated

I have read the FAQ but to no avail []
