I have a question I hope someone out there can answer I have a fp-6va futaba radio and a gws r6n reciever in a gws tiger moth 3d airplane and it flys great but my question is this I would like to hook the ailerons up as flaperons and I tried hooking it up the way futaba explains it in the instruction manual and they did not work properly I put one aileron on channel 1 and one on channel 6 but they do not work right so I am wondering if the gws reciever is capable of doing this or if I have to purchase a futaba reciever to accomplish this any help will be well appreciated
Thank you

I haven't used a GWS receiver but can't see why this would be a problem.
What is happening when you move the sticks? Are both servos moving? Do they move in the right direction?
Have you enabled Flaperon mixing on your transmitter?

When you mention that the flaperons don't work correctly, what do you mean? How are things working?
On the 6VA, the channel 6 knob operates the flap function. You must set the small trimmer to get the proper amount of flap deflection when you turn the channel 6 knob.

Bill I am sorry I was not clear enough when I hooked up the ailerons on channel 1 and 6 the ailerons were not going opposite directions they were both going up at the same time and down at the same time the flaps seemed to work fine with the knob
maybe this info will help you more
I will try hooking them up again
Thanks
