Hi,
OK so I've flown a new model and trimmed it for straight flight. Can I transfer those trim settings to Sub-trim so my digital trims are back to zero? I seem to remember that this was a feature available on my old JR652 tranny.
Thanks

Ideally, you use mechanical adjustments to put the control surface as close as possible to the trimmed position when the main trims are centered, and only then use the subtrims to take out any amount smaller than the mechanical adjusment can do. This keeps you from having large amounts of subtrim.

In other words,,,--- NO. Too bad, I really liked this feature on my old Super 7, and was really dissapointed when I found my 9C wouldn't. I'm living through another problem with my 9C now- I can get the plane trimmed out, land it and shut everything off, and when I turn the trans back on all trims are back in the middle. Quite disconcerting!

Hi BadBill,
If you trims are changing just by shutting down and then turning the transmitter back on, or even changing from their original settings when you change from Model to Model, then your radio has a problem. I would suggest sending this in to be serviced.
When you set your trims on the 9C, they should remain where you set them until you change them again.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
Sincerely,

Thanks Krysta,
Yes, I know it has a problem. I've been trying to brace myself to send it in and do without it. I would assume this is warranty, how long would the turnaround be?
