Default Servo question

I have seen this happen before, but I have slept since then and don't remember the cause or the cure. I started setting up a plane today that had two servos on the elevator using a Y-harness. When Command is sent to elevator servos - say FULL UP - and when released to netural one will go back to netural but the second one will go to full DOWN and then back to netural. It is also BOUNCY.

Default RE: Servo question

Hi WALKERS210-RCU,

If you have ball bearinged servos, they will sometimes chatter around center. This is common and just means the servo is hunting for center. Be sure your servo connections are not binding, which can shorten the life of your servo.

If this in not the case and you are not using ball bearinged servos, you may have a bad pot which can be causing this.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
Krysta
