Default Super 8 Question

Hi Ms. Cross, I have a question about my elevator dual rate switch. When I have a dual rate setting of perhaps 40%, and lets say, 100% or more on high rates (elevator), the elevator neutral moves a tiny bit (and stays at the new neutral location) when I flip between high and low rates. The elevator works fine, and when I change back to D/R, it goes to the original neutral location. The elevator change is very little, but I don't think it should be doing that?! Changing the expo makes no difference. Have you ever heard of this? It does it with both futaba and hitec receivers / servos. If I keep the dual rates fairly close on either side of the switch, ie. 80% and 100%, it doesn't do it. Grossly different dual rate settings seem to cause it. This appears to only happen with the elevator D/R switch. I can live with this, but I was wondering if there's something I could do to correct it. Thanks for any suggestions.

John, Great question! Your radio's elevator pot has slipped. You are seeing it more clearly with high dual rate differences. Please send your radio for service.

for future reference, you can find this and other technical questions in the FAQs at www.futabarc.com.
