I have been flying my 7C for about a year now. Awesome radio! I really love it! Not all covered with switches and knobs like a 9C. Last season the timer always started within a couple clicks of idle on the throttle stick. This was perfect! When I started this season, I noticed that the timer won't start working until the throttle is well past 1/2. Unfortunately, a couple of my airplanes spend much of their time flying at around 1/2 throttle. Hence, the timer stops updating as soon as I reduce power after take-off. Is there an adjustment on this? Either mechanical or programming? I really don't want to send this radio in at the start of the fun-fly season.

It's possible you've accidentally changed the activation point. The timer instructions are on page 37 of the manual, and you can set the position of the stick to activate the timer.
