9ZHP WCII power light blinks
The power light on my 9Z will blink off for about a haft sec. or so and then back on. This happens about every several minutes or so. Does anybody know why this is happening and what the problem may be? Thanks in advance.

RE: 9ZHP WCII power light blinks
Hi Dan,
The right-hand light flashes when: the transmitter is transmitting, or if you have a flight condition switch is on, or a mixing switch is on. Ohter wise it will be a steady on light.
The left-hand light will come on when the power is on, or it will blink during Automatic transfer.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

RE: 9ZHP WCII power light blinks
Krysta,
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not sure want you mean by the term "automatic transfer". Could you explain to me what that is please? I've been unable to find where this is mentioned in the manual. The light will just blink once at random and after awhile do it again. The transmitter is just sitting, on, but not doing anything and at the home menu. I first noticed it when I was setting up the trim on a new plane and I would notice out of the corner of my eye that the power light would flash even though I wasn't giving any sort of input.
Thanks, -Dan

Hi Dan,
Automatic transfer is the same as the Data Transfer function, this is when you are downloading from one transmitter to another by way of a trainer cord.
It sounds like you are in PCM mode, the light will do this once every minute or so, as it checks itself.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
