Complicated flaps

Could use some help here.
I have an 8UAF. I want to use switch C for flap operation, with center and down positions at various setting. I have done the pmix for each switch position and this worked fine for ch. 6 (flap). However, I can't use a y harness to connect my two flap servos as they are mounted opposite (install requires this) therefore I need to reverse one servo relative to the other. Efforts to link flap channel to channel 7 (other flap) and its control via switch C have not produced results. Additionally, I will want to disable both knob controls if possible (did this ok for channel 7 but don't know if I can do it to both). Running out of pmixs fast.
Thanks

You don't need to use any mixes at all to get two flap servos working off of one switch. Let's assume you're using channels 6 & 7 for flaps. Just go into the AUX-CH menu and set channels 6 & 7 to operate off of the same switch. I did this for switch E on my transmitter. Now use the REV and ATV functions to get them to move in the directions and amounts you wish. No mixes needed, no knobs to turn off.
You could also set both channels to a single slider or a single knob, instead. It's up to you.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I am not sure I follow you. By Aux Ch. do you mean channel 7? If so can you give me a step by step so I can navigate to the right menus and switch settings. I am not sure if you are saying that channel 7 can be assigned to a switch outside of a pmix?
Sorry, just not getting it yet.

OK, my mistake. I somehow forgot you were using an 8U, and gave you the setup for a 9C-series Tx (brain misfire!).
Set up the flaps on one channel. To operate the main flaps channel via a switch, you'll need to use a pmix with offset as master and the flap channel as slave. Set it up for the switch and travel you desire. Use the next pmix in the list to set up the second flap channel with the main flap channel as the master. Set the % of movement of the slave channel so that it moves with the master channel. Use a third mix to turn off the knob per the FAQ.
