I bought a 6EXA TX in April of this year. Last month I installed it in an ALPHA 40 trainer. At first all was fine, then one morning while doing a range check a few weeks ago the rudder and elevators started chattering at about 50ft with the antenna all the way down. Thinking it was a charging issue I field charged both TX and RX. The flutter stopped and it checked out fine. I took off and at about a 100 yards out it started to lose control. I was able to safely land the plane. Think I had a bad RX or XTL I replaced both with brand new Futaba equipment. A range check proved the same problem was there but now the throttle control would rev up and down on its own. Please give me some help on this one. I have flown Futaba for over 20 years and this is the first problem I have encountered. I am usin my old SkySport-6A TX with no problems at all with this plane. Thank you.

Without seeing the transmitter or receiver, we'd not be able to tell you which one is causing your difficulties. Usually, problems are found in the airborne system, but we cannot rule out anything. Your best bet is to send the transmitter and receiver to us for inspection and possible service.
