Is it fair to assume that a new 10 channel receiver is on the way? Seems a bit of an overkill to have 14 channels for a 10 channel transmitter.
Also, is the CAMPAC from a 9C Super compatable (i.e. directly useable) in a 10C?
Thanks
Kerry

I have 9CAP & 9CAP super. I will need 10 propotional channels.
If I am going to spend $$$ on 10 channels then I want 10 REAL channels.
Right now my lander gear (retract) is on channel 9 (switch).
I had to program a HITEC digital servo's endpoints to operate a Robart air retract valve which has about 1/4" travel.
I prefere to use 2 channels for my Jetcat turbine ECU throttle and an AUX with a 3-position switch.
And right now turbine is controlled by throttle channel only.

Yes the 10 has a few more mixes and x# more swashplates, than the old 8U. and most likely easyer to programm too.

If you are wanting 10 Proportional channels, then you may want to look to the 12FG.
The 10C comparison has been on our website now for over a month, and has been there so that eveyone can see how this radio compares to the 9C. I tried to get this information on our site as quickly as I could to help people in their decisions if they wish to purchase it.

12FG AT LEAST $1200.00
Time too look at X9303 (JR)
#13
And you said you needed 10 channels and the 9303 is only 9.
The JR 12X will give you the channels you want, and it is only $1,499.99 and is STILL on backorder.
The 12FG is $1,199.99 and is a more powerful radio when you compare programming flexibility and features..

I do have a gripe though, it seems as if the 10C was an afterthought because they don't have a 10 channel RX to go with it.
It's is almost laughable that you have to buy a 14 channel RX to be able to use all 10 channels on your Tx.
If you don't want to get skewered by the price of the 14 channel your other choice is an 8 channel Rx.
Dosen't make good sense to me. My 9C still works fine.

I would like to know why Futaba keeps moving up the release date. Some people sold their other transmitters in preperation for this model and still no transmitter. POOR business. I was lucky to hold on to an old 9c to get me through.

While nobody likes to have delivery dates change, it happens. Futaba doesn't say why, they just announce that the projected delivery has been moved. The best information we have on deliveries right now is that they should arrive here in just about one week from today. Please note that we said "The best information". When it gets this close, it's usually correct within a day or so.

Can you say if the delivery is to Futaba USA then you ship to distributors? Or do the distributors get them straight away?

Kerry,
I am sorry, you seem to have found a mistake no one else, even myself, has found on the chart I made. I will have this corrected.
Obviously the 9C Super is capable of using a Campac, I simply did not add the "(21)" to the chart.
The 10C will be able to use the 9C Campacs, if you will check the 10C manual that we have online page 17 will give you information about this.
Crossup,
We receive shipments here and all backorders are filled to hobby stores and individuals on a first come, first served basis. After that we then ship to hobby stores and indviduals both with the remaining supply.

Krysta,
Does this mean that I can take the model memory's from my 9CHP, copy them to it's Campac, remove the Campac from my 9CHP and plug it into a 10CH and be able to fly the models from those memory's on the 10CH?
That would be AWESOME! [>:] Heli's are a total pain to set up and I was dreading having to reconfigure everything if I switched to the newer transmitter. Please let me know if my understanding is correct?
Thanks!

If you have models saved on a CamPac that you've been using in your 9C or 9C Super transmitter, you can plug the CamPac into your 10C and use those models. Save them to the 10C and then double check the functions. For safety's sake, some mixes may be set to be inhibited, and you'll have to turn them on. The settings, though, should still be there.
DO NOT reformat the CamPac when you insert it into the 10C. If you do, you'll lose everything that's on the CamPac.

This thread has gotten to be too large for the support forum, so we're closing it. If you have questions about the 10C, please do a search first. Most of them have likely been answered. Also check the Futaba RC website, which will also have tons of information on the system.
