Default AMP Limits For 6014 Receivers

Hi Mr. Baxter,

Can you tell me what the max current rating is on the 6014 receivers. I just read on another site that quotes you saying the number is 8 amps. I found this hard to believe when the competition has their top-of-line receivers rated at over 30 amps. I thought it would be best to ask you rather than beleive some unknown guy quoting you.

Thank you.

8A is the max rating. We'd tend to not believe 30 Amps on a circuit trace, unless it's very thick or very wide. Many times, that rating is an instaneous burst of very, very small duration.

Using the MPDX-1 system it would be possible to pull 8 amps through one servo outlet, if you got to 1amp per servo, especially if you where using the MPDX1 to power a four servo per side aileron on a giant scale, is this permisable?

Mike
