Default Question for Bax about 9C super tx problem

Hi Bill ( Bax) ,
Ive got a 9 super and have recently loaded a new plane on memory #2 thats a 28% Katana gasser thats on PCM. I then have a H9 60 size Twist thats located on memory #9. I was at the field flying today and went to the tx to load the twist to fly it first and noticed it now read that the modulation had switched to PCM ( I had last flown the Katana on PCM last time at the field a week ago). I sorta thought this today was weird that the twist was now on PCM, but went into the radio and changed the twist back to PPM and then flew it with no problems. Later in the day I wanted to give the Katana on PCM a go and changed models in the tx to # 2 and now the Katana read PPM, NOT PCM. I had to swap modulations between both planes today every time I wanted to fly the respective plane.
Whats going on here with that? I dont think its anything Im doing wrong , but you never know .........I have been wrong once or twice in my lifetime , LOL It just seems to me that once a plane is saved to memory, all the settings for that model should stay that way, right? Each time today that I had to change the modulation, I did as it said and cycled the power and then it was fine, until I wanted to fly the other plane, then the modulation switch thing came up.
Any suggestions for me on this?

Thanks so much for your reply,
John McGowan

The transmitting mode is usually stored with the model, but you have to cycle the power after you change models...so if you change from a PPM model to a PCM model, you turn off the transmitter and turn it back on. There's nothing wrong with your transmitter because you have to do so.
