I bought a new 617 rx, I have tried to bind it to my 12FG but it will not bind. I sent it back to the supplier who told me they had tested it and it bound to one of their tx's. They told me that I have to change the settings in the 12FG as I have been using it with a 14ch rx. I have checked the manual for the 12FG and can't see any reference to using a 617 as opposed to a 14 ch. Can you shed any light on this as I should have the receiver back tomorrow and will attempt to bind it again.

Go into the Linkage Menu, and then the Frequency section. Change it to 7-channel FASST mode. Then it will link with your R617FS receiver.
